About Us
The Agenzia Teatrale SGR has deep roots in the heart of the Italian cultural scene.
Founded in Modena in 1974 by its indefatigable founder, Graziano Tagliati, born in 1949, Graziano was a multifaceted artist who, before embarking on the path of the theatre agency, trod numerous stages as singer and keyboardist of the famous musical group Moonlight.
His band became a reference point in the national 'beat' music scene, leading him to perform in various venues in Italy.
Thanks to his charisma and passion for music, many club owners turned to him for advice on programming and organising shows.
As time went by, Graziano extended his scope and established exclusive contracts with prestigious artists and music groups, including illustrious names such as Demis Roussos, Amanda Lear and the Rockets, while also collaborating with famous singers such as Julio Iglesias, Pooh, Nomadi and many others.
In the 1980s, Graziano Tagliati entered the world of television, actively collaborating with former patron Gianni Ravera and establishing a fruitful working relationship with RAI.
In 1986, he directly organised several outside broadcasts for RAI as part of the 'Piccoli Fans in Tour' series. Among the television productions he supervised were 'Canta Napoli', 'Canta Roma', 'Canta Milano' and 'Castrocaro Terme di Forlì'.
Collaboration with RAI continued over the years with the organisation of broadcasts at the local 'Bul di Castrocaro Terme (FC)' and the management of connections for important television programmes such as 'Festival delle voci nuove', 'Fantastico' and 'Domenica In'.
Over time, the SGR Agency has become a point of reference for the most important music festivals and events in Italy.
In the 2000s, his son Andrea Tagliati joined the agency, helping to expand the roster and the number of shows on offer, immediately establishing excellent agreements with several artists and other agencies.
Andrea's dedication and tenacity are in perfect continuity with his father's artistic and entrepreneurial legacy and contribute to keeping alive the tradition of excellence and professionalism that characterises SGR.
Today the agency is renowned for offering a wide range of Italian and foreign artists for performances in entertainment venues, theatres, performance spaces, national festivals, public parties and private events.
Andrea's passion for the world of music inspires him to nurture an ambitious vision: his dream is to grow the SGR Agency into a reference point not only in Italy, but also globally for artists of all nationalities.
